NOTE: In 1798, the end of forty and two months, the power of Roman Catholic Church 'to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: [to persecute true Christians]' (Revelation 13:7) was taken when Napolean stripped the political-military power of the Roman Catholic Church.

 

The loss of political-military power is called 'deadly wound' in Revelation 13:12,14. Revelation 13:14 explained how this wound was inflicted: 'by a sword.' Sword in the bible symbolizes political-military power (Romans 13:1-4), which refers to the French political-military power under Napoleon. Revelation 13:10, which foretold that the Roman Catholic Church that led many into captivity should herself go into captivity, was fulfilled when Pope Pius VI was made captive by the French army in 1798. The same passage, which foretold that the Roman Catholic Church that murdered many by the sword of several European political-military powers, which included France, should herself be killed with the same sword, was fulfilled when the political-military power of the Roman Catholic Church fell by the French army in 1798.

Activity 1. The United States of America will exercise the power of the Roman Catholic Church 'over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations [worldwide dominion]' that may well include 'to make war with the saints, and to overcome them [persecuting true Christians]' (Revelation 13:7).

Activity 2. The United States of America will 'cause [make] the earth and them which dwell therein [the people of the 'earth' - the United States of America]' worship the first beast [serve the Roman Catholic Church by obeying its doctrines].'

NOTE: The earth beast [the United States of America] is also called the false prophet. Both perform miracles before the sea beast [the Roman Catholic Church] to deceive.

The United States of America [the beast with 'two horns like a lamb'] are governed by Republicanism as its civil power and Protestantism as its religious power (see EARTH BEAST KINGDOM). In the United States of America, these two powers are separated and yet reserved by the people.

Which one of these two powers would more likely perform miracles to deceive, and therefore, be called false prophet? It would be the religious power Protestantism - the apostate American Protestant.

Activity 5. The earth beast [The United States of America] will 'say to them that dwell on the earth [the people of the United States of America], that they should make an image [likeness] to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live [the Roman Catholic Church - the union between civil power and religious power]' (see IMAGE OF THE BEAST).

The 'image to the beast' represents a form of apostate Protestantism which will be developed when the Protestant churches shall seek the help of the civil power for the enforcement of their dogmas.

Activity 6. The earth beast [The United States of America] will 'give life unto [legalize and endorse the establishment of] the image of the beast [apostate Protestantism - union between civil power and religious power], that the image of the beast [apostate Protestantism] should both speak [command], and cause [make; compel; force] that as many as would not worship [serve by obeying its doctrines] the image of the beast [apostate Protestantism] should be killed.'

Activity 7. The earth beast [The United States of America] will 'cause [make; compel; force] all, both small and great [all civic ranks], rich and poor [all economic strata], free and bond [all social categories], to receive a mark [the observance of the Roman Catholic Church's Sunday Sabbath instead of the Bible's seventh day Sabbath - see MARK OF THE BEAST] in their right hand [action] or in their foreheads [mind].'

Activity 8. The earth beast [The United States of America] will cut off the resources of those who do not have the mark, the name, or the number of the name of the beast so that they cannot buy or sell [economic sanctions].​
