ABOLISHED LAW

1. What are examples of the law that was abolished?
Read: Galatians 6:15​; Acts 15:5,19,28,29

For in Christ Jesus neither __________ avails any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of __________(15:5)
Why my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God. (15:19)
For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay on you no greater burden than these __________ things; That you abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if you keep yourselves, you shall do well. NOTE: Circumcision and some, not all, of the law of Moses were abolished. â€‹

2. Which parts of the law of Moses were not abolished?

3. How did God abolish some of the law of Moses and circumcision?
Read: Hebrews 10:1,4,8,9,10,12,14; Ephesians 2:15; Colossians 2:11

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. (10:1)
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. (10:4)
Above when he said, __________ and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin you would not, neither had pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; (10:8)
Then said he, See, I come to do your will, O God. He takes away the first, that he may establish the second. (10:9)
By the which will we are sanctified through the __________ of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (10:10)
But this man, after he had offered one __________ for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; (10:12)
For by one offering he has perfected for ever them that are sanctified. (10:14)

NOTE: By His death, Christ offered one sacrifice for sins, and therefore, abolishing some of the law of Moses, namely the law of sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin. In Christ, we are circumcised, and therefore, abolishing the law of circumcision. â€‹

4. Which parts of the law of Moses were abolished?

NOTE: The law of Moses that symbolized ['had a shadow of'] salvation to come was abolished. That law includes the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, the sin offering, of the trespass offering, of the consecrations, of the peace offerings.
