TEN COMMANDMENTS & REVELATION 13
1. What did 'all the world' do to the dragon and the sea-beast?
Read: Revelation 13:4
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Revelation 13:8
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him [the sea-beast], whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

NOTE: 'They worshipped the dragon' and 'they worshipped the beast'.

2. What commandments were broken by 'all the world'?
Read: Exodus 20:3-5
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Exodus 34:14
For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

NOTE: By worshipping the dragon and the beast, 'all the world' broke the first and the second commandments.

3. What did the sea-beast have and do against God?
Read: Revelation 13:1
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Revelation 13:6
And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

NOTE: On the heads of the sea-beast was the name of blasphemy.
The sea-beast also blasphemed 'against God' - 'His name, His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven'.

4. What commandment was broken by the sea-beast?
Read: Exodus 20:7
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Leviticus 24:16
And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death.

NOTE: By having the name of blasphemy and blaspheming against God, which included 'His name', the sea-beast broke the third commandment.

5. What did the earth-beast cause [make] and command?
Read: Revelation 13:12
And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

NOTE: The earth-beast 'caused [made] the earth [the USA] and them which dwell therein [the Americans] to worship the first beast [the sea-beast representing the Roman Catholic Church system]'.

Revelation 13:14
And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

NOTE: The earth-beast deceived 'them which dwell on the earth [the Americans] by means of those miracles' that 'they should make an image to the beast'.

Revelation 13:15
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

NOTE: The earth-beast gave life to the image of the beast to do two things: 1) To speak, 2) To cause everyone to worship the image of the beast.
As the sea-beast was given 'a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies' (Revelation 13:5, the earth-beast gave life to the image of the beast to speak 'great things and blasphemies'.

6. What commandments were broken by the earth-beast?
Read: Exodus 20:34,,7
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Leviticus 24:16
And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death.
NOTE: The earth-beast broke the first, second, and third commandments by 'causing everyone to worship the image of the beast' [Commandment #1: 'have no other gods before me'], 'deceiving those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast' [Commandment #2: 'not make any graven image'], giving life to the image of the beast 'to speak great things and blasphemies' [Commandment #3: 'not take the name of the Lord in vain' or not blaspheme the name of the LORD].

7. What else did the earth-beast cause [make] and command?
Read: Revelation 13:16,17
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads. And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

NOTE: The earth-beast 'caused [made] everyone to receive a mark' and 'that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name, or the number'.

8. What commandment had anything to do with buying and selling?
Read: Nehemiah 10:31
And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.

Nehemiah 13:15-18
In those days saw I in Judah some treading wine presses on the sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and lading asses; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day: and I testified against them in the day wherein they sold victuals. There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem. Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day? Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.

NOTE: The fourth commandment prohibits buying or selling on the Sabbath.
And so, the 'the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name' without which 'no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name, or the number' must be related to the fourth commandment:
Exodus 20:8-10
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work.
