NOTE: The word of prophecy forewarns us of the dangers in the last days so that we may avoid it. It foretells the future glory so that we may take comfort in it. The word of prophecy is a light. When men turn away their eyes from it, they go into darkness, and soon stumble and fall. As we approach the end of the world, we shall have more and more of the gift of prophecy to keep us from the darkness that covers the earth.
