1. Who was the serpent?
Read: Revelation 12:9

And the great __________ was cast out, that old serpent, called the __________, and __________, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
​
NOTE: The serpent was called the Devil and Satan, which deceived the whole world. The serpent was also the great dragon.

2. Where did Satan or the Devil come from?
Read: Luke 10:18; Revelation 12:12
​
And he said to them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from __________(10:18)
​
Therefore rejoice, you __________, and you that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the __________ and of the sea! for the devil is come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time. (12:12)

NOTE: Satan or the Devil fell from heaven to earth.

3. Why did the Devil fall from heaven to earth?
Read: Revelation 12:7,8,9,12

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels __________ against the dragon; and the dragon __________ and his angels, 8 And __________ not; neither was their place found any more in __________. 9 And the great dragon was __________ out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was __________ out into the __________, and his angels were cast out with him. 12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and you that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.

NOTE: The great dragon, which was the Devil, and his angels fought against Michael and his angels. But they were defeated and they had no place any more in heaven. And they were cast out into the earth.
​

4. Who was Michael?
Read: Jude 1:9; Daniel 12:1; Daniel 10:13
​
Yet Michael the __________, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke you. (1:9)
​
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great __________ which stands for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. (12:1)
​
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, see, Michael, one of the __________ princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. (10:13)

NOTE: Michael was the archangel, the great prince, one or first (see Young's Literal Translation of Daniel 10:13) of the chief princes.
