NOTE: The second beast that looks like a bear represents Medo-Persia, which is represented by the breast and the arms of silver in Daniel 2.

And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it __________ up itself on one side. 

NOTE: The bear raised up itself on one side, indicating that one nation always raised up itself against the other in Medo-Persia. Before 550 BC, the Median ruled over the Persian. In 550 BC, Cyrus, the king of Persia, raised up itself against the Median and the Persian began to rule over the Median.

3. What did the bear have in its mouth?

And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had __________ in the mouth of it between the teeth of it:

NOTE: Medo-Persia conquered three prominent kingdoms, namely Babylon, Lydia, and Egypt.
