NOTE: Babylon (605 BC - 538 BC), the kingdom of Nebuchadnezzar, was the head of gold. Medo-Persia (538 BC - 331 BC), which arose and conquered Babylon, was the breast and arms of silver. Greece (331 BC - 168 BC), which arose and conquered Medo-Persia, was the belly and thighs of brass. Rome (168 BC - 476 AD), which arose and conquered Greece, was the legs of iron.

8. After the iron legs, came the feet and toes, part of potters' clay and part of iron. What did they represent?

NOTE: Unlike the previous kingdoms, Rome was not conquered by another kingdom. Due to internal struggle, Rome was conquered and divided among ten barbarian tribes: 1) Burgundians, 2) Visigoths, 3) Franks, 4) Lombards, 5) Suevi, 6) Alemanni, 7) Anglo-Saxons, 8) Heruli, 9) Vandals, 10) Ostrogoths. Seven of them became western European countries: 1) Burgundians become Switzerland, 2) Visigoths become Spain, 3) Franks become France, 4) Lombards become Italy, 5) Suevi become Portugal, 6) Alemanni become Germany, 7) Anglo-Saxons become Britain. The other three: Heruli, Vandals, Ostrogoths were destroyed.

9. Will the European continent ever be united again?
