NOTE: The little horn came up 'among' the ten horns, which represented ten barbarian tribes in the Western Europe. Hence, the little horn kingdom was located in the Western Europe.

And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise __________ them.

NOTE: The little horn kingdom arose after Rome was divided among ten barbarian tribes in the 5th century or AD 476.

3. How was the little horn compared to the first ten horns?

NOTE: The little horn kingdom persecuted the saints.

7. How long were the saints given into the hand of the little horn?

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until __________

NOTE: A 'time' referred to a year. The 'times' in its original language is in dual form, which means 'two times', not more than that. Hence, the little horn kingdom was given over the saints for 'a time' [one year] and 'two times' [two years] and 'the dividing, or half, of time' [half a year], which was 3 1/2 prophetic years, or 3 1/2 X 360 days = 1260 days. Based on the day-year principle, these 1260 days represented 1260 literal years. The little horn shall rule over the saints for 1260 years.
